The Dark Lord of the Underworld |

Hades had a very gloomy nature. He was in control of the underworld, where the mortals would go after they died. Hades' parents were Cronus and Rhea, and his sibilings were Zeus, Poseidon, Hestia, and Hera. Hades envied his brothers Zeus and Poseidon, and he rarely ever left his palace. Hades was very possessive and bossy and was strict about the rules in the underworld. He never let any of his subjects escape, and he never let them visit Earth either. He also owned a three headed dog, Cerberus, that guarded the gates to the underworld. Hades was a very lonely man, even when Persephone was in the underworld as his queen. |
