The Geography of Greece There is no exact location of where Demeter and Persephone lived, or where Hades' palace was, but we know it was somewhere in Greece. The area Demeter and Persephone lived in was very beautiful. The climate was mild, in between 60 degrees and 70 degrees fahrenheit. Where they lived was mostly sunny, with occasional showers. The area was also covered with green meadows, plentiful fields of vegetation, and orchards filled with fruit of all sorts. There was rivers and oceans close by, including the Ionian Sea, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Aegean Sea. Greece is a peninsula, which is an area of land completely surrounded by water on three sides. Greece is also very mountainous. |
